Youth Music Tour

 

International Masterclass

Youth Music Tour is an international music education project, organised annually by Expost International Cross-cultural Exchange Association in cooperation with Johann Sebastian Bach Music School Vienna. Since 2011, we have been devoted to promoting educational and cultural exchange through music between Austria and other countries. Young musicians need performing experience as well as guidance. We provide opportunities for young musicians to learn from and work with great teachers and performers of our time. The course includes high quality masterclasses, three private individual lessons and ensemble workshops. In addition to offering classical music courses, we also provide jazz piano and improvisation masterclass. We invite internationally renowned performers and lectures, as well as teachers from esteemed universities and colleges in Austria such as the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

YMT Youth Orchestra  

The YMT Youth Orchestra is formed by all the students who participate in our International Masterclass. Apart from piano students, other instrumentalists will participate in our ensemble classes and rehearsals. This is a great opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds to exchange their ideas and build friendships through the universal language of music. After four days of rehearsing, the participants will perform at the Showcase Concert with a professional conductor.
